During the school summer holiday keep the kids entertained with a cruise along Bedford Embankment and journey back through time that shaped Bedford, Romans, Anglo-Saxons, Vikings and in the 1600s Black Tom and John Bunyan are all part of Bedford History. We will be joined by Alasdair Bright a local illustrator and co-author of “The Bedford Chronicles”
Departing from St Mary's Gardens at 1.30pm and 3pm for a 1 hour cruise along the Embankment before returning to St Mary's Gardens.

There is a galley bar on board serving hot, cold and alcoholic drinks (from 12pm), a small selection of snacks, plus a selection of Merchandise.

Keep the kids busy this summer holidays with the John Bunyan Family EyeSpy cruises, while you relax as we cruise by Bedford’s landmarks along the Embankment and the wildlife on the Great River Ouse. See how many of the landmarks you can spot?
Included in the child cruise ticket is the John Bunyan community boat I-SPY card.

Departure from Sovereigns Quay at 12.00pm, 1.45pm & 3.00pm for an Eyespy cruise along the embankment. Boarding the John Bunyan will take place 15mins before the advertised times. Cruise time is approx 45 minutes.
A fully licensed bar is available on board from 12pm, the galley will be open serving a selection of Hot & Cold drinks and snacks.
