Free activities for children for Jubilee

11 May 2022

Event in Bedford Town Centre

Town Centre Jubilee Trail – 19 May to 9 June

To celebrate the Jubilee, 12 crowns have been hidden in various windows around the town centre. Why not explore the town while following the map to find the crowns?

Maps will be available to download online or can be collected from The Higgins or Central Library.

The trail will run from Thursday 19 May through the long Jubilee weekend and ends on Thursday 9 June.

Competition - Postcards to the Queen

If you could send a postcard to the Queen, what would you say?

Maybe you could say:

  • how you help the planet
  • how you’ve been kind to someone
  • you could even draw a picture of your family, best friend or pet!

You can pick up a blank postcard from any of our libraries then once you’ve completed it, pop it in one of our special Jubilee post-boxes.

The winning postcard from each library will be shared on social media, and the winners will receive a Love Bedford Voucher to spend in the town centre! Prizes have been donated by BedfordBID.

This activity is for children aged 12 and under.

Closing date for posting post-cards is Monday 6th June.
