Bedford Italian Festival in Town

An Italian Festival in the town centre will give people the chance to eat and drink Mediterranean style on Sunday, July 21st.

From 12 noon until 5pm visitors to Harpur Square can enjoy La Dolce Vita right in the heart of the town of Bedford. See full details here. 

Famous for having had a large Italian community which has grown since World War Two, Bedford will be celebrating that cosmopolitan connection with this event.

The local branch of Utilitrack Ltd which is headed up by Gerard Duggan and supported by his team Anne, Jenny and Mary, helps businesses save time and money on their Utility bills, is the main sponsor:

The Italian Festival is part of a range of events being staged across the Borough of Bedford to support a major multi-cultural SpectaculARTS event being staged at Bedford Park on September 7th.

Founder of SpectaculARTS, which is a Community Interest Company, is Sharon De Leonardis. She has great plans for an performing arts and cultural event to be held in the years between the biennial Bedford River Festival

Keeping up the Italian Connection, Guy A . Moliterno has accepted the honour of being Ambassador for SpectularARTS. Guy is well known in the local business community and in 2014 was appointed Honorary Consul of Italy.
