Nick’s bash to raise £1,000s

02 January 2019

Leading estate agent and Rotarian Nick Kier DL is heading up a massive fund-raising project for Motor Neurone Disease.

Inspired by the story of Debbie Burrells, a well known face in town retail, Nick and friends are organising the bedsboundarybash.co.uk at Easter.

The complete circuit is around 150 miles, but general joggers can take part in the final five miles around a private country estate in the Borough.

Nick is one of the founders of what is now Lane & Holmes in St Loyes Street and as a Rotarian organised the famous St George’s Day Ball at the Bedford Moat House for 25 years raising hundreds of thousands in the process.

He said: “We are hoping that companies in the town centre and beyond will sign up to put relay teams in the 150 mile circuit, or smaller groups will join the final five miles.”
