Nicholas Anthony Hairdressers in St Peter’s Street is celebrating 60 year in business.
It was established in 1958 with Antonio Bocchetti senior opening his first salon on Lurke Street. His son Nicholas took over in the late 1960’s with the help of his brother Andy and began offering women’s hairdressing as well as men’s. The salon was converted from a lorry docking warehouse situated under Lurke Street car park into a large unisex salon. The family also opened a salon in St Neots, run by Andrew.
Today, Nicholas Anthony Hairdressers on St Peter’s Street, is where the talented team welcome loyal clients who appreciate the super customer service.
Nicholas Anthony were among three winners in a Love Bedford Customer Service awards and were presented with their award at the start of 2018 by BedfordBID Director Christina Rowe. The secret survey especially praised the salon for the warm welcome staff gave to customers - whatever the weather.
