SOS with Jagged Edge

04 October 2017

Jagged Edge Barbers has helped a local charity for the homeless with a Cuts for Clothes deal at their High Street shop in Bedford.

Business entrepreneur Zak Resinato sharpened his scissors to take part in the event on Sunday October 1st which was to encourage men to donate T-shirts, sweatshirts and jeans to the The Smart Prebend Centre, Bedford.

Local lad Zak now has 13 barbering outlets with a fleet of trained staff across the UK, and deals with Sainsbury’s and top retail parks to provide stylish “pods” for men’s hairstyling.

“We started the Jagged Edge SOS to help encourage our social media followers to get involved. The idea of the Cuts for Clothes is a great one for Bedford and it means our males clients can donate some of their quality gear to this worthy cause,” said Zak, aged 30 of North Bedfordshire.

SMART’s Communication Manager James Whitcomb said: “It’s important for projects like The SMART Prebend Centre to have support from the local community. We are extremely grateful to Jagged Edge Barbers and to local businesses and residents who support us in Bedford.”

The next SOS event, on a different theme, will be at the Nottingham Jagged Edge Barbers pod. Follow Jagged Edge Barbers for Facebook films and Instagram images.
