BedPop Repair Shop this May with Max McMurdo

04 May 2017

Got something that’s broken, that you think could be repaired if only you knew how? Do you hate the thought of throwing things away simply because you don’t have the know-how or necessary tools? Then help is at hand!

Upcycler extraordinaire, Max McMurdo will be joining the BedPop Repair Shop at the Higgins Bedford on Saturday 20th May – and he’ll be hosting a Q&A session to share his expert knowledge.  Max, host of TV’s Fill Your Home for Free and Shed of the Year, will be joining the BedPop team of fixers to bring life back to old furniture, vacuum cleaners, jeans, bikes, courtesy of local bike shop Flamme Rouge, and more.

Emmaus Carlton will also be hosting an upcycling workshop and Bedford ReUse Centre will take your working electrical items at their donation station where staff will be on hand to discuss collection of larger items.

The BedPop Repair Shop will be open for business at the Higgins Bedford on Saturday 20th May from 11am – 5pm to give a new lease of life to your broken belongings.

You can see all the categories and book your slot at: bedpoprepairshop.youcanbook.me

Bring your broken toasters, frayed jeans or wonky bikes and the BedPop team of experts and handy dandies will do their best to make them better.  The event is supported by the Bedford ReUse Centre and Goldings.

Everything is free, but donations are welcome.
