Bedford’s June Arts Jam runs from the 3rd-20th of the month and offers a selection of shows in many exciting locations across the town.

Full House are children’s theatre specialists, and they have travelled the country to hand pick the most outstanding work for young people to bring it back to Bedford, for this wonderful celebration of the town’s cultural spaces. As trailblazers of arts provision for children Full House promises a festival that will surprise, delight and educate audiences – whatever their age – with the aim of creating treasured family memories for many years to come.

Venues hosting June Arts Jam events include The Higgins Museum, The Place Theatre, Bedford Central Library, John Bunyan Museum and Queens Park Community Centre. During the festival families can head out to their favourite cultural spot and benefit from an added touch of the sweet stuff offered by the jam; entertaining shows, inspiring arts events and interactive workshops.

June Arts Jam Programmer Ben Miles said:

“Attending similar events to this when I was a child is what inspired me to work in the creative industries. I feel incredibly proud to now be in a position to select the best work that’s out there for children and bring it back to where I live. If you’ve not been to one of our hosting venues before, now’s your chance to check it out and have an extra special experience.”

Many of the events at June Arts Jam are offered for free as the festival has been funded by Arts Council England and the Harpur Trust.
