BedfordBID were lucky enough to get a preview of Bedford’s newest barbecue restaurant, Smoke Shack.

Last night’s launch was a great success, with celebrity appearances from Gordon Ramsay and Mr T!

Guests were invited to sample from the menu which includes a mouth watering range of burgers and hotdogs, as well as huge racks of ribs and creamy milkshakes.

Based on Mill Street, the premises have been completely refurbished with a grizzly bear lodge theme and a great atmosphere. Welcomed into the bar area there is a wide choice of drinks including American craft ale which is the perfect accompaniment to dinner.

Through an archway to the restaurant, the décor continues to impress with a warm relaxed feel. The burgers were deliciously juicy with a choice of buns: brioche, seeded or pretzel, plus a choice of fries (the sweet                                                                                                  potato fries were delicious).
