Love Bedford-sponsored shows on Castle Mound

Free family summer shows will be staged on the Bedford Castle Mound alongside the River Great Ouse on Sunday July 12th and 19th.

Sponsored by BedfordBID under the Love Bedford brand, there will be 'Castle Comedy for Kids' and 'Amazing Bedford People'.  Amazing Bedford People has been tailor-made for a Bedford audience and will tell the story of some of Bedford's heroes through the ages. Castle Comedy for Kids will have oodles of fun for children of all ages, so be prepared for lots of laughs, comedy and silliness with some top children's comedians and entertainers.

"Bedford's got a whole lot of history and some pretty amazing people and we are going to tell you their story. Our 'light hearted' theatre production will literally whizz you through history. Both Amazing Bedford People   on July 19th shows at 12.00 – 1.00 / 2.30 – 3.30 / 5.00 – 6.00, and Castle Comedy for Kids on July 12th shows at 12.00 – 1.15 and 3.00 – 4.15, will involve audience participation and will be just the thing for a fun family afternoon," said Karen Fryc of Get Into Bed Ltd who is co-ordinating the events with actress Cally Lawrence of No Loss Productions and Castle Comedy's Paul Revill

Parking in town is free on Sundays and many of our biggest and best shops and restaurants are open so there is plenty for families to enjoy alongside the summer shows.”
