People flocking to the Bedford River Festival looked to the Love Bedford website for information.
Nearly ten times the usual number logged on to www.lovebedford.co.uk on the Saturday of the weekend event.
In addition the BedfordBID team were on hand at the River Festival to guide people towards the Love Bedford Town Guide App and were offering Love Bedford Gift Vouchers prizes of up to £150.
Said BedfordBID Director Christina Rowe: “The Bedford River Festival is a great day out for 1000s. We wanted to make sure that visitors were given information to make them come back to town in the weeks and months to come. One way to encourage them is via technology such as our website, our App and social media.”
