Take a stroll across Bedford's bridges and see all sides of our town.
The latest addition is the new footbridge: the Britannia Bridge (which has historical links with Garibaldi).
From there stroll along the riverside to the Town Bridge and then on to the Suspension Bridge and finally the Butterfly Bridge. Stopping en route for coffee at the bar with the best view in Bedford at the Park Inn St Mary's, or for famous afternoon tea at The Bedford Swan Hotel. Or visit the Castle Quay restaurants and bars just off The Embankment.
Bedford is known as a town of markets - now it can claim to be town of bridges too.
