Rowing is a sport that can be experienced by people of all ages from about 12 upward, and all are welcomed and catered for at Bedford Rowing. For those new to the sport there is a one-month introductory period in which you can try out the sport and facilities for just £10. Should you wish to carry on after this you can upgrade to senior or student member.

We have three pools; the main, 6-lane competition pool, the diving pool and a beginners teaching pool. The facility offers something for everybody, from 3 month old babies to senior citizens, with an all-encompassing programme of activities designed to cater for the whole community. You will also find a state of the art gym and a variety of fitness classes for all levels and ages.

The Bedford International Athletic Stadium has acquired a reputation as one of the finest facilities of its kind in the south and indeed the UK. The outdoor facilities comprise an International standard eight lane floodlit synthetic track, athletics field events, and two rugby pitches, one of which is floodlit.

The sports hall comprises of eight badminton courts with one court for team sports such as football and a 60 metre sprint track. Activities offered range from Athletics, Football, Badminton, Short Tennis, Basketball, Netball, Volleyball, Martial Arts and a variety of general fitness sessions.
