Love Christmas? Then come on down to town for Love Bedford’s Santa and celebrity show on Thursday November 23rd.
The free entertainment and attractions between 3pm and 7 pm will include Chase and Skye from Paw Patrol, a snowboard simulator and Christmas balloon modelling, Cairngorm reindeer and lots of Christmas fun and games. Father Christmas will be the special guest at the Harpur Square celebration.
This activity is all in advance of the big Christmas lights switch on in the town centre and the fireworks on The Embankment by the river from 7 pm. Thousands join the town festive fun each year, which is funded by Bedford businesses through the BedfordBID organisation. BedfordBID also sponsors the fireworks.
The date also marks the beginning of late night shopping every Thursday from 23rd November and then every weekday between 18th – 23rd December.
