Police patrols for Hallowe'en and Bonfire Night

24 October 2017

Over the lead up to Halloween and Bonfire night Bedfordshire Police will be completing specific patrols in Bedford Town Centre to combat anti-social behaviour and nuisance, please report any matters of concern through 101 or 999 as appropriate.

They will concentrate on locations that have caused issues in the past but will be looking to respond to spontaneous incidents with these dedicated units under operation Ayrshire.

They would like to remind local shops to be vigilant in managing of sales of items that could be used to cause nuisance and damage – eggs and flour etc. and have created posters to spread the message  that you can print or send on to anybody who would find them of use.

This time of year isn’t always easy for everyone and we are aware that some residents may require extra support in deterring Trick or Treaters.

If you require any specific support or additional information, please do get in touch with police on 101.
