Bedford’s Markets have been an important part of the town for 850 years – come down and love your local market!
Along with the usual mix of markets the ‘Hand Made in Bedford’ craft stalls will be attending Wednesday to Saturday and Ark Farm, an education and mobile farm, will be in the town centre on Friday 3rd of June from 11am-5pm. Gumbles amusements will be at Harpur Square and Boots corner from Sunday 29th May to Sunday 5th of June.
Especially for Love Your Local Markets Week, many market traders will be accepting Love Bedford vouchers as payment. Check the stalls for "Love Bedford vouchers redeemable here" signs.
Bedford Borough Council are offering the opportunity for local residents and community groups to run a market stall for themselves; stalls are available free of charge on the Tuesday with a 50% discount to new starters for the rest of the week.
