Now in its second year, Love Bedford Run Bedford is quickly becoming one of the go-to 10K events in the racing calendar. With almost 700 people signed up for the 5th June run, this year’s event promises to be a great day for everyone involved. Who can enter? ANYONE! It is not too late to enter, go to www.runbedford.org and sign up. With a race limit of 800 you may miss out if you leave it too late to enter. There will only be entries on the day if we have not reached our race limit.

The course includes Bedford town centre High Street and stretches past the Bedford Swan Hotel along the Embankment,  It is designed to give runners the best chance of a personal best being very fast and very flat and takes place on closed roads, completely traffic free. For beginners it is one of the easier 10k courses with no hills to speak of.

The race starts at 9am on the Sunday morning, with the Race Headquarters and registration opening at 7am.

This year’s Race Headquarters is well supported by our a number of companies including Core Performance Cross Fit who will have a challenge for you to win some membership, Canoe Trail who will be teaching you to Zorb and stand up paddle board and Big Rock indoor Climbing Centre. Refreshments will also be available from the Kiosk in Russell Park.

And what’s more, for the first time in the history of the event, prize money is on offer the top three male and female finishers!
