Bedford Borough Council has gone above and beyond this year to make sure shoppers have every reason to buy their Christmas presents in Bedford Town Centre. Along with offering 2 hours free parking on Saturdays in all Council-owned Town Centre car parks and all day on Sunday and after 6pm on-street, Bedford Borough Council has announced the latest car parking offers being made to motorists!

From 1st December, motorists can enjoy the first two hours free parking in the Town Centre’s Queen Street car park!

After two hours, motorists will have to pay to park in the Queen Street car park, which is a short walk from the central shopping area. However, the first two hours’ of parking are free! The Queen Street offer is a Christmas-only special and will expire on 31st December 2015.

Mayor of Bedford Borough, Dave Hodgson said “We take supporting local businesses during the Christmas period very seriously and want to help shoppers travelling into Bedford as much as we can. These Christmas Car Parking Offers are incredibly competitive and will make sure Bedford Town Centre is the place to go for cheap, easy parking during a very busy time of year!”

• 2 hours free parking on Saturday in all Council-owned Town Centre car parks
• All of Sunday free parking in Council-owned Car Parks and on-street
