A Whole Mound of Fun brought out the sunshine on Sunday July 12th as 300 clambered up the Castle hill for an outdoor children's comedy show.
Sponsored by BedfordBID businesses, under the Love Bedford banner, the event encouraged families to come into town on Sunday afternoon, despite changeable weather. Spaghetti John's of Castle Quay were there to sell ice creams and everyone went home with goodie bags packed with information about Bedford businesses.
Organiser Karen Fryc of Get into Bed Events said: "We had tremendous support from the media including radio, magazines and newspapers so the message reached far and wide. We are looking forward to next Sunday July 19th when we unveil a new show 'Amazing Bedford People' which is all about hilarious histories of the town.
BedfordBID Director Christina Rowe said: "Our aim to is to support events which appeal to people from all areas of Bedfordshire and beyond and to get them to come into town see what's new. We businesses opening all the time and so many events and activities that there is something for everyone."
