Putting Bedford centre stage is something BedfordBID does for the benefit of businesses.

Encouraging people to visit Bedford for a day or evening helps to showcase our town – once people have seen the best of Bedford, they keep coming back.

To this end, the Love Bedford Theatre on the Castle Mound in July and the Love Bedford Outdoor Cinema in front of the Castle Quay restaurants were sponsored by BedfordBID.

The theatre was subsidised to encourage the “school holiday” audience and some shows were FREE.

The cinema starts in August and all four twilight shows are FREE.

Talking of film shows, BedfordBID has commissioned two films by a town-centre based production team Future Legend. One is aimed at the potential customer who is encouraged to visit all the great activity which is going on in Bedford. The second is to encourage investment.

Both have cameo appearances by people who work tirelessly to support our town day and night.

The films can be seen on our website www.lovebedford.co.uk and will be shown prior to the main feature screenings at the free outdoor shows in August.

BedfordBID has made Love Bedford a rallying banner for those who want to see Bedford to prosper. The volunteer Board members all take time out of their own businesses, without any expenses or allowances, to lend their expertise and support to the organisation which benefits 100s of businesses in town.
