Body Shop, Silver Street, Bedford re-opened after a major refit on Saturday March 8th.
The first 100 customers were given a free goody bag worth over £15. Helping to steer customers in the right direction were the Love Bedford Bluecaps who act as town centre guides on behalf on behalf of the 575 levy-paying businesses in the town centre BID (Business Improvement District).
The store was officially opened by Shelbee Clarke a Body Shop "Local Hero" who has overcome teenage cancer.
Store Manager Amanda Clarke is looking forward to welcoming everyone to shop which now includes a Community Wall to advertise and celebrate local volunteering projects.
