Monday 11th (with BSL interpreter for meet the puppets session) & Tuesday 12th March, 7.30pm (+4.30pm on 12th March)

Access Bedford will be providing us with a BSL interpreter on March 11th, for the ‘meet the puppets session’ after the show!

Stuck in her Grandma’s obsessively tidy flat, a recently orphaned girl discovers a kite, which comes to life and takes her on a wild adventure. Little does she know that Grandma has her own brand of magic and the wind will bring them together in ways they never would have imagined.

Inspired by the world of indoor-kite flying and stories such as The Snowman and The Red BalloonKiteis a play without words, with originally composed music, dance, puppetry and of course kites.

From acclaimed theatre company The Wrong Crowd, creators of inventive, playful and compelling new theatre (Snow White and the Happy Ever After Beauty Salon, Swanhunter, Hag, The Girl with the Iron Claws). Kite is for audiences of all ages. A poignant love-song to the wind, freedom and the joy of play.
