Soul Food Poetry debuts at EMPIRE on Friday 28th July. A night filled with amazing poets, singers and musicians.

The last show held in May was a resounding success and definitely brought the London spoken word scene to Bedfordshire. After having great success in Luton, the curators have decided to bring the positive vibes and energy to Bedford. Soul Food Poetry are very excited about the direction spoken word poetry is taking in Bedfordshire and would love to collaborate with local artists as well as other spoken word/poetry groups. The artists are fresh and raw whilst the amazing audience bring that electrifying energy to the shows. SOUL FOOD POETRY is making quite a scene locally and have even started to draw crowd members from overseas!
